Fun Fact:
Cody is one of the newest members of the Canadian wheelchair rugby national team. He started his wheelchair rugby career in 2008 after becoming a quadriplegic in a diving accident. Just a week after his accident, he saw the documentary “Murderball” and immediately decided to play the sport. The former Peterborough Petes AAA goalie and soccer player adapted quickly to wheelchair rugby and soon earned a reputation for his mix of intelligence and speed. He made the team in 2013 and earned a silver medal at the 2014 World Wheelchair Rugby Championships. Today, Cody is a proud member of CIBC Team Next and has his sights set on winning gold.
