The Ontario Thunder and Team BC Face Off In Historic Rivalry at the 2016 Canadian Wheelchair Rugby Championship

(Montreal, QC) – The Ontario Thunder and Team BC will once again face off for the Campbell Cup at the 2016 Canadian Wheelchair Rugby Championship. This will be the sixth year in a row that the two teams have been in the gold medal game. The match will start on Sunday at 2 pm at the Centre Pierre-Charbonneau.

Both teams have several national team athletes on their rosters. Trevor Hirschfield, Ian Chan, Byron Green and Travis Murao play for Team BC, while David Willsie, Garett Hickling, Patrice Dagenais and Cody Caldwell play for the Thunder.

“These teams have had some epic battles over the years and tomorrow’s match will be no different,” said Canadian Wheelchair Sports Association CEO Cathy Cadieux.

Quebec and Alberta will play for bronze at 12:15.
