At the Toronto 2015 Parapan Am Games, the Canadian public was captivated by wheelchair rugby. We hope, however, that the increased publicity will also attract more athletes to our sport. We’re actively recruiting wheelchair rugby participants across Canada.
To be eligible to play wheelchair rugby, you must have impairment in at least three limbs. Eligible disabilities include:
- Spinal cord injury
- Short stature
- Cerebral palsy
- Muscular dystrophy
